The mission of Kingdom Come Food Pantry is to identify the unmet needs of those of low income, the handicapped, the elderly, and those at risk in the community; to develop programs that will address those needs; to educate the public regarding those needs and to serve those in need in a way that honors God and each other.

Funded Program

We are Oconto County Food Insecure

Since 2005 Kingdom Come Inc has provided food to self-identified food-insecure people in Oconto County who come to the weekly food pantry. Currently an average of 450 households per week come for the distribution. The need has been increasing with inflation & the end of pandemic-related funding. Transportation costs particularly affect pantry clients who must drive to work, often in the Green Bay area. The pantry, a resale shop, and a diaper program continue 100% volunteer run, funded thru donations by individuals, churches, businesses, and community organizations.

Community Impact

Target Population: All Oconto County residents who are food insecure.
Number of Individuals Served: 3,450

The food supplement needs of people who come for food, personal care supplies, and diaper-related items will be met and the nutritional value of the food provided will increase.  While the pantry would like to become obsolete (i.e., no one in Oconto County is food insecure), they can only support people in their goal of self-sufficiency & climbing out of poverty.
