Funded Program
M & M's for Protein
The 2025 Community Impact Grant will help supplement funding to provide protein in the form of meat and dairy products (mainly milk) to friends in need coming to the pantry. Meat is the single largest food expenditure followed by dairy. Menominee County residents are eligible to visit the food pantry once every 30 days. Pantry visitors are offered a meat choice as well as milk at each visit. Having the cost of milk and meat purchases supplemented by this grant enables the pantry to add other dairy products as well as other protein items to give to friends in need.
Community Impact
Target Population: Low-income families, senior citizens, single mothers, disabled veterans and the hardworking poor. We acknowledge anyone can experience a bout of food insecurity. All pantry visitors reside in Menominee County

Neighbors in need will be nourished with quality protein products and will positively impact the lives of many in Menominee County.
